These Terms govern your use of Realtors' Practice — including the website at realtorspractice.com, the Hub provider marketplace, paid plans, and any verification or advisory engagement.
By creating an account or otherwise using the platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Acceptance and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Nigerian law to use the platform. By accepting these Terms you confirm that you meet both requirements.
If you use the platform on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
Account types
We support several account types, each with its own scope of capability:
- Visitor
- Browse public listings, the Hub directory, and read market reports.
- Registered user
- Save listings, message agents and providers, and contact verification.
- Agent
- Publish listings on their own behalf, subject to credential verification.
- Agency
- Manage multiple agents under a single organisation.
- Developer
- Publish off-plan and project listings, access development-stage advisory.
- Service provider
- Operate a Hub profile, list packages, accept service requests, and receive a public rating.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for everything that happens under your account.
User submissions and listing rules
Anything you publish — listings, profiles, photos, reviews — must be:
- True. Pricing, area, condition, ownership, and amenities must match reality.
- Yours to share. You either own the property or have written authority to market it. Photographs must be your own or properly licensed.
- Compliant with the Hub rules. No duplicates across providers, no misleading bait listings, no off-platform price quotes that contradict what you have posted.
We may refuse, edit, or remove submissions that fall short — including any that have been flagged during reconciliation or verification.
Verification and advisory services
Realtors' Practice offers paid verification (title, documentation, chain-of-ownership) and advisory engagements (acquisition, disposal, development, investment) grounded in our reconciled corridor data.
Our deliverables represent a professional opinion on the property and the market context as of the date of the report. They are not legal advice and they do not replace independent legal counsel, formal valuation, or your own due diligence.
The Hub provider marketplace
The Hub introduces seekers to vetted property professionals — plumbers, electricians, carpenters, interior designers, surveyors, lawyers, and more. Once introduced, providers and seekers contact and contract with each other directly.
What we do provide is verification of provider credentials before they are listed, moderated reviews, and a transparent rating system that travels with each provider profile. Either side can flag conduct that breaches these Terms, and we will investigate.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- Scrape, frame, or systematically copy the platform or its reconciled dataset.
- Post unlawful, discriminatory, harassing, or fraudulent content.
- Solicit transactions that move users off-platform to circumvent fair-use limits, ratings, or moderation.
- Submit false reviews, fake listings, or duplicate accounts.
- Interfere with the platform's security, performance, or other users' access.
Repeat or material breach can lead to suspension or termination of your account without refund.
Intellectual property
Realtors' Practice owns the reconciled corridor dataset, the platform's software, and the brand. You may not copy or redistribute these without our written permission.
You keep ownership of what you upload — listings, photos, profile content — and grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and use it on the platform and in the corridor intelligence we produce. We strip identifying detail before any data point feeds the public intelligence layer.
Payments, refunds, and fees
Where the platform charges a fee — subscriptions, listing promotions, verification credits, or advisory hours — payment is processed by Paystack or Flutterwave. Amounts are in Nigerian Naira (NGN) unless we explicitly invoice otherwise.
Refunds are limited to verifiable platform-side failures (e.g. a deliverable we did not produce within the agreed window). They are not available for change of mind, third-party provider performance, or the outcome of a transaction we facilitated but did not execute.
See the full Subscription Agreement for tier-specific terms.
Disputes and the rating system
Hub providers carry a public, moderated rating that aggregates every completed job and shapes their visibility in search. Reviews must reflect the reviewer's own experience and must not contain personal data, defamation, or off-topic content.
If a dispute arises between a seeker and a provider, we will moderate factual claims and remove reviews that breach these Terms. Because we are not party to the underlying contract, we cannot adjudicate the contract itself — that route remains the courts of Lagos State.
Liability, governing law, and termination
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with the platform is limited to the greater of NGN 100,000 or the fees you have paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State.
You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close yours for material breach. On termination, the licences you have granted us in submissions remain in force only to the extent needed to maintain reconciled records as required by law.
Write to legal@realtorspractice.com and we'll respond within 30 days as required by NDPR.
